Jackpot!

Dear Vistors,

Imagine that you have just one $180 million dollars. Here are some questions for you:

1.) How would you want to receive your prize money…all it once, or in increments over the next 30 years? Why?

2.) What would be the first thing you would do with the money based on the method of payment you indicated above?

3.) Who would you want to be aware of your winnings? What are some concerns you have about people knowing about it?

4.) Do you think you would be better off with the jackpot, or do you think you would still have a similar degree of or even more problems?

The B.O. Boss

Dear Daily Dilemma,

What do you if you have a boss who has bad body odor? The boss is very nice and the job is great, it's just that it's a challenge being in smelling distance and I do not want to offend the manager.

Is the H1N1 Vaccine Worth a Shot?

Dear Daily Dilemma,

I am in conflict over whether or not I should get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus. On the one hand this strain of the flu sounds like it is extremely contagious and deadly. (Is that true?) On the other hand, there does not seem to be a track record on how effective the vaccine is given that it is so new. I'm even wondering if there may be more risks associated with getting vaccinated, such as exposure to mercury and anything else that may be in the solution. Finally, how likely is that the virus will mutate to the point that the vaccine is rendered useless? I do not have any chronic health issues, so I am wondering if it is best just to rely on my body's immune system defenses?

To Tithe or Not to Tithe? That is the Question.

Dear Daily Dilemma,

I have just received my last paycheck for at least the next three months. My checking account had been over-drawn, so only $10.00 was left once the direct deposit had been made. The amount that remains is about equal to the 10% I would like to tithe this Sunday at church. My spouse is still employeed, but all of our other accounts are over-drawn. Once my spouse's check comes in two more weeks, at least half of it will be gone. We have no other money until that time, not that $10.00 can buy that much anyway. We have enough food to last until next week, though much of it the kids don't like. We will be out of bread and milk, though, before that time. Should I use the $10 to get some of the staples the kids like or should I tithe it?
